After a global launch last September 6, the GoPro Hero 12 Black will be made available in the Philippines with a starting price of Php 24,990 for the camera only. There’s also a Creator Kit that includes accessories to make the Hero 12 Black a vlogging rig.
To recap, the Hero 12 Black introduces a number of under-the-hood improvements over the Hero 11 Black. One of the biggest improvements is battery life, where GoPro claims up to 70 minutes of recording time at 5.3K 60FPS–which is double than the recording time of the Hero 11 Black at the same resolution. The 1/1.9-inch sensor can natively shoot vertical video for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and IG reels content and can shoot HDR photos and videos as well (up to 5.3k 30FPS in 16:9, and up to 4K 60FPS in 16:9).
You also get a native tripod mounting thread at the bottom to support more accessories, and you get Bluetooth Audio support for using wireless microphones and earphones.

The Hero 12 Black starts at Php 24,990 for the camera only, while the Max Lens Mod 2.0 is priced at Php 7,490. If you want the whole kit, the Hero 12 Black Creator Kit will cost you Php 36,990Â abd gets you accessories like a Media Mod with built-in microphone, Volta Battery Grip, Light Mod, Curved Adhesive mount and Mounting Buckle.
