Another strong budget mid-range offering from Realme?
Realme is set to introduce a new model on November 28 with the Realme U1 in India. The upcoming budget mid-range phone is the first to use MediaTek’s Helio P70 processor and is positioned to be a selfie-centric device. Ahead of its official unveiling, the Realme U1’s spec sheet was leaked out, and it appears to position itself between the Realme 2 and Realme 2 Pro:
Going through the leaked spec sheet, the Realme U1 will be available in 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB variants. Being a selfie-centric device, the Realme U1 will utilize a 25-megapixel f/2.0 camera with a Sony IMX 576 sensor. It is the same front camera used on OPPO’s R17 Pro and F9.
The Realme U1 borrows the same dual rear camera setup of the Realme 2, which consists of a 13-megapixel f/2.2 main camera and 2-megapixel f/2.4 depth sensor. You get the same battery capacity found on the Realme 2 Pro, and it has no support for fast charging. Instead, you are getting a conventional 10W charging on the Realme U1 via a MicroUSB port.
While it will launch first in India, we hope that the Realme U1 will make it to our shores as well.
