It is more powerful than the Snapdragon 636 or Kirin 710
Realme is set to launch a new phone in India with the U1. While we know that it will be the first phone to use MediaTek’s Helio P70 processor, a recent photo showcased the mid-range processor’s muscle in AnTuTu.
Compared to the Redmi Note 6 Pro’s Snapdragon 636 and the Honor 8X’s Kirin 710, the Realme U1’s Helio P70 scored higher in AnTuTu, having an edge in terms of GPU performance. Benchmark tests only tell one part of the story, so we will wait for actual tests to determine if the Helio P70 is better than its Helio P60 in spite of having barely any difference save for a higher CPU and GPU clock speed.
Other features of the Realme U1 include a dual rear camera setup and a selfie-centric front camera—presumably a 25-megapixel snapper.
