Here’s the Official Price of the EOS R8, R50 in the Philippines

After it was announced globally last February, Canon Philippines has revealed the official price for the EOS R50 and R8, along with their promo bundles.
To recap, the EOS R50 is the most affordable EOS-R camera in the Philippines at under Php 50k, and effectively is the successor to the M50 Mark II. Like its EF-M mount sibling, you are getting a 24.2-megapixel sensor with the EOS R50, though this time you can shoot 4K30 video without any crop. It also has Canon’s Dual Pixel Autofocus that has subject detection for people, animals, and vehicles in both photo and video, and can output 10-bit video with HDR PQ.
The EOS R8, on the other hand, aims to succeed the EOS RP as Canon’s new entry-level full-frame camera. It uses the same 24.2-megapixel sensor found on the R6 Mark 2 and can shoot uncropped and oversampled 4K video at 60FPS or Full HD video at up to 180FPS. For photos, the R8 is capable of going as fast as 40FPS with its electronic shutter.
Like the EOS R50, the R8 supports 10-bit HDR PQ and has Dual Pixel Autofocus, but adds support forCanon Log-3, 4K video at 60FPS, and Full HD video at 180FPS.
The EOS R50 is priced at Php 47,998 for the body only and Php 54,998 with the 18-45mm STM lens. The EOS R8, on the other hand, has an official price of Php 107,998 for the body only and Php 122,998 with the 24mm-50mm IS STM lens in the Philippines.
Those getting the EOS R50 will get a 64GB SD card, while the EOS R8 comes with a 128GB SD card and a Lens Loan Voucher. Both models will be available in the Philippines this April.
