After HONOR announced the 200 Lite in Europe, it was simply a matter of time before we got details about the rest of the 200 series. A standard HONOR 200 and 200 Pro are expected, and alleged renders of the latter have recently surfaced.
The leaked renders reveal the HONOR 200 Pro in three colorways, retaining the same dual-texture design of the HONOR 100 Pro–with the light green colorway clearly showing a vegan leather back. The camera module is reminiscent of the P60 Pro, and a closer look at the module confirms a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and 50x zoom, which might mean that the 200 Pro’s third camera is a telephoto shooter.
We presume that the main camera will be the same IMX906 sensor used on the 100 series, and further reading through the text reveals a possible f/1.9-2.4 variable aperture design.
As for other rumored specs, the HONOR 200 Pro will reportedly use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while the standard model will settle for the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Both phones will reportedly have a quad-curved OLED display with a 1.5k resolution–with the Pro model having a pill-shaped punch-hole for housing two selfie cameras.
Both phones are expected to launch first in China, and it remains to be seen if they will arrive in the Philippines. We got the HONOR 70 and 90 already, and with the brand skipping the 80 and 100 series, there’s a good chance that the 200 series might be the brand’s next major release in the Philippines.Â
