HONOR Debuts Entry-Level X20 SE

HONOR Debuts Entry-Level X20 SE

After unveiling the HONOR 50 series in June, the now-independent brand adds a new entry-level 5G phone to its portfolio with the X20 SE.

HONOR X20 SE Specs:

  • MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor
  • 6GB/8GB RAM
  • 128GB storage
  • 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD display
  • 64-megapixel f/1.9 main camera with PDAF, 2-megapixel f/2.4 depth sensor, 2-megapixel f/2.4 macro camera
  • 16-megapixel f/2.0 selfie camera
  • 4G, 5G
  • WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC
  • Side-mounted fingerprint scanner
  • 4000mAh battery
  • 22.5w charging
  • Android 11, MagicUI 4.2

Slotting below the 50 series, the X20 SE comes with a Dimensity 700 processor that is paired with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. You don’t get expandable storage on it, but the better tradeoff is that it supports dual 5G SIM—letting you enjoy two different 5G networks at the same time.

For the display, you get a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD display with very slim bezels and a punch-hole for the 16-megapixel selfie snapper. As for the rear cameras, the X20 SE has a 64-megapixel main camera and a pair of 2-megapixel cameras—one for depth sensing, and another for macro shots. Keeping the lights on is a 4000mAh battery with 22.5w USB-C charging.

Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, headphone jack, and Android 11-based MagicUI 4.2. Since it debuted in China, it does not come with Google Mobile services.

HONOR X20 SE Price

The X20 SE is priced at CNY 1800(~Php 13.7k) for the 6GB model and CNY 2000(~Php 15.2k) for the 8GB model. Both phones are available for pre-order in China, with regular saleas starting on July 9.

Unlike the 50 series, there’s no word yet of the X20 SE will be made available globally.
