Following its initial unveiling in China last July, HONOR is making its groundbreaking Magic V3 foldable available in global markets starting in Europe. This means that more countries will get access to a foldable phone that can easily rival the Galaxy Z Fold6.
What makes the Magic V3 groundbreaking is that it is just 9.2mm thin, making it slightly thicker than a Galaxy S24 Ultra. Even more amazing is that it weighs just 226 grams–which is the same weight as non-foldable phones like the Magic6 Pro. Not to be outdone by Samsung, HONOR also adds an IPx8 rating to the Magic V3, making it another rare foldable to have water resistance.
Despite being insanely slim, HONOR still gave the Magic V3 a solid camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel periscope with 3.5x optical zoom, 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, and a 40-megapixel ultra-wide camera. It also has the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, with HONOR following Samsung’s footsteps by adding a bigger vapor chamber inside. You also get a 5150mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports both 66w wired and 50w wireless charging.
In global markets, the HONOR Magic V3 is priced at 1,999 Euros (~Php 125k) for the 12GB/512GB variant. Do note that European pricing is usually higher, and we hope HONOR prices the Magic V3 at below Php 100k if it has plans of bringing it to the Philippines.
