HONOR Makes a Surprise Announcement with the 90 Lite

While we are waiting for HONOR to make the 90 series official globally, the brand made a surprise announcement in Europe with the Lite version. Sporting the same design aesthetic as its more expensive siblings, the 90 Lite’s main highlight is its 100-megapixel main rear camera, which is accompanied by a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has flat frame sides like the X8a, so we suspect that the 90 Lite might be using the same camera setup given the similarities.

The similarities of the 90 Lite with the X8a do not end there: it also has a 6.7-inch 90hz display with a Full HD+ resolution and a punch-hole for a 16-megapixel selfie shooter, along with a 4500mAh battery and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

What makes the 90 Lite better than the X8a? Aside from a more premium look, the 90 Lite is 5G-ready with its use of a Dimensity 6020 processor–which is the new name of the Dimensity 700 in case you’re not aware. The 90 Lite has faster USB-C charging speeds at 35w and has double the internal storage at 256GB.

In the UK, the OHNOR 90 Lite is priced at 250 Pounds or around Php 17.8k when converted and comes bundled with either a Band 7 fitness tracker or Earbuds X5 TWS. European pricing is usually higher, so expect the 90 Lite to have an under Php 15k price tag should HONOR decide to make it available in the Philippines.
