The HONOR Pad 9 comes with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 Chip

While the HONOR 90 GT has a slim chance of making it outside of China, the Pad 9 is the device that has a better chance of being available in other countries including the Philippines.

As a successor to the Pad 8, the Pad 9 gets upgraded to a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor that’s also found on the X9b. It can be configured with up to 8GB RAM and up to 512GB storage, though HONOR did not mention if the Pad 9 has cellular data.

The Pad 9 is slim at 6.96mm and weighs only 555g (559g with the Soft Light version) with its all-metal body. Its display is a 12.1-inch IPS panel with a 2560×1600 resolution, 120hz refresh rate, and 500 nits of brightness. The display has stylus support, and there’s a Soft Light version that gives the Pad 9 a paper-like display–similar to Huawei’s PaperMatte on its MatePads. Complementing the large display is an 8-speaker system.

For the cameras, the Pad 9 has an 8-megapixel selfie camera in front and a 13-megapixel rear camera that’s housed in a circular module that’s placed in the middle to give it a rather unique look. Keeping the lights on is an 8300mAh battery that supports 35w charging, along with Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2 out of the box.

The HONOR Pad 9 starts at CNY 1,599 (~Php 12.5k) 8GB/256GB variant.
