HONOR X5b Coming to PH on April 2

HONOR confirmed that it will be bringing two budget phones in the Philippines with the X5b. As an exclusive offering the Lazada, the X5b will become available in the Philippines on April 2.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Lazada for the first time to bring a device that combines style, reliability, and advanced features. The HONOR X5b is designed to meet the everyday needs of Filipino consumers,” HONOR Vice President Stephen Cheng said.

Being a budget phones, the X5b has a 6.56-inch 90hz TFT display with an HD+ resolution and a notch for a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. It is powered by a Helio G36 processor that’s paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, though it’s not yet clear which variant will HONOR bring to the Philippines. You also get a 13-megapixel rear camera, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 5200mAh battery that supports 10w USB-C charging.

Aside from the X5b, there’s also an X5b Plus that’s coming to the Philippines soon that gets a higher-resolution 50-megapixel rear camera and up to 256GB internal storage.

With the X5 Plus having an SRP of Php 5,490 when it arrived in the Philippines back in 2023, we’re expecting the same price for the X5b Plus, while we think that the X5b will be priced at under Php 5k given the minimal differences between both phones.
