HONOR did kept its promise on making the X9c’s price in the Philippines not exceed Php 20k. In fact, HONOR gave the X9c the same price as the X9b when it launched last year in the Philippines, which is more impressive given the upgrades you get on the X9c. To make things interesting, even the X9a from 2023 was also priced at Php 17k at launch as well.
With the X9c, you get an upgraded drop resistance to 2 meters and an IP65 rating, making it more water resistant than its predecessor. You also get a brighter 120hz curved AMOLED display as well and an ambient light sensor to accompany the 16-megapixel selfie shooter. Speaking of cameras, HONOR decided to ditch the macro camera on the X9c and add OIS to the main camera–making it more suitable for low-light shooting and video recording in 4K resolution.

The biggest upgrade, however, is with the battery, as HONOR managed to squeeze in a huge 6600mAh cell on the X9c without making the phone thicker. To go along with the bigger battery, the X9c supports 66w charging.
The HONOR X9c has an official price of Php 16,999 in the Philippines, and those who will pre-order until January 24 have a chance to win a Rolex Datejust watch. It will be available at HONOR stores nationwide and online at Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
