Huawei Executive Showcase Alleged P60 Pro Camera Samples

While Huawei did not reveal details about the P60 series at MWC 2023, it seems that they were actually testing them during the annual conference. In a Weibo post by Huawei Smart Devices COO He Gang, he shared four camera samples and teased that they come from a new phone and that said phone (we presume it’s the P60 Pro) takes great photos.

Looking through the photos, it seems that He Gang was showcasing the telephoto camera of the P60 Pro. To recall, the P60 Pro will reportedly use a 64-megapixel OV64B sensor, and it’s not going to be a regular sensor: typical of Huawei, the P60 Pro will use an RYYB pixel arrangement so that it has better light intake and improved low-light performance. Accompanying the telephoto camera is an IMX888 sensor for the main camera and IMX858 for the ultra-wide camera.

While the P60 Pro is a 2023 flagship, a new set of rumors say that it will use a 4G version of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. It should not be a bad thing since the previous-generation flagship chip offers plenty of power for 2023 standards. Other rumored specs about the P60 Pro include a 5000mAh battery with 100w wired and 50w wireless charging, a 6.6-inch 120hz QHD+ OLED display, and an IP68 rating.
