Huawei has officially launched its new Band 6 fitness tracker and Freebuds 4i TWS in the Philippines. Huawei is looking to further expand its hold on the fitness tracker segment with the affordably-priced Band 6. The Freebuds 4i meanwhile, is aimed at people looking for a reasonably priced pair of TWS cans that sport Active Noise Cancellation.
The Freebuds 4i sports fast charging and excellent battery life, with Huawei promising 4 hours of continuous playback with a mere 10-minutes of charging. Overall battery life is pegged at 10 hours with ANC off, and 7.5 hours with ANC on.
The FreeBuds 4i comes with dual microphones, a windproof structure, and 10mm dynamic drivers with a polymer composite diaphragm to give emphasis on vocals. There are also wear detection sensors that automatically pause music the moment you take them off your ears. It will be available in three colors: Carbon Black, Red, or Ceramic White.
The Huawei Band 6 meanwhile, has a 1.47-inch, 194 x 368 resolution AMOLED panel that can show a variety of watch faces. It has skinny bezels (for a fitness tracker) and has a 64% screen-to-body ratio.
It’s rated for 5ATM water resistance so you can swim with it if you like, and Huawei promises a battery life of up to two weeks via regular use or up to 10 days with heavy use. Like with most Huawei wearables, the Band 6 is capable of tracking multiple fitness metrics, including Blood Oxygen Monitoring, TruSeen 4.0 heart monitoring, TrueSleep 2.0 sleep monitoring as well as TruRelax 2.0 pressure monitoring, and more.
The wearable can track 96 different sport modes, and it can also display notifications, call, and message alerts, and can control your camera as well as music playback from your phone.
It will be offered locally in three colors: Sakura Pink, Forest Green, and Black.
Huawei Band 6 and Freebuds 4i Price Philippines
The Huawei Freebudes 4i can be purchased for Php 3,599 while the Huawei Band 6 is priced at Php 2,599. The pre-order period for both devices will run from April 19 to 29, 2021. During this time you can cop some extra freebies such as the Huawei Bluetooth Speakers, or purchase any of the three limited-edition protective covers bundled with the Freebuds 4i.
