The wait is almost over, as Huawei announced that the Mate 50 Pro is coming soon to the Philippines as its latest flagship product. Based on its home page, the Philippines will get two Mate 50 Pro variants: the black and silver models with 256GB internal storage, and a more upscale orange model (presumably the one with a vegan leather back) that has 512GB internal storage.
The local launch of the Mate 50 Pro should excite everyone, as the Philippines will get to experience a phone that is touted the smartphone camera king by DxOMark. To recap, the Mate 50 Pro’s triple rear camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel f/1.4-4.0 main camera with OIS, a 13-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 64-megapixel f/3.5 telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS.
Other standout features of the Mate 50 Pro include 66w wired charging, 50w wireless charging, stereo speakers, a 6.74-inch 120hz curved AMOLED display, and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.
