While we more or less know that the Mate 70 series will launch in China on November 26, HUAWEI also revealed that the Mate X6 will also launch alongside it. HUAWEI also revealed the back panel of the Mate X6, and it looks similar to previous Mate foldables save for a slightly different position for the periscope camera. The teaser also confirms a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and two back panel options: a vegan leather version in red, and a glass version in Nebula Ash.
HUAWEI has yet to reveal other details, but the Mate X6 will be available in three variants: 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB.
As for the Mate 70 series, we expect three models launching on November 26, with the regular and Pro models having 12GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. The Mate 70 Pro+, on the other hand, will have 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. We expect a periscope camera on the Mate 70 Pro, and all models are expected to debut the Kirin 9100 processor that’s based on SMIC’s N+3 (6nm) fabrication and HarmonyOS Next.
Aside from the two phones, HUAWEI is expected to debut a new MatePad Pro 13.2 and FreeBuds 4 Pro TWS earbuds.
