Huawei MateView Coming to the Philippines on August 13

Aside from the gaming-oriented MateView GT, Huawei will also bring the pro-grade MateView flagship monitor to the Philippines this August. Huawei’s flagship monitor comes with a 28.2-inch IPS LCD display with a 4K+ resolution, DC dimming, a productivity-oriented 3:2 aspect ratio, and a 500nits maximum brightness.

Making this a true professional monitor is its DisplayHDR 400 certification, along with coverage for 98% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB color gamuts and support for 10-bit color.

Since productivity is its main selling point, the MateView comes with a variety of ports that include two USB-A ports for connecting peripherals like a keyboard and mouse, USB-C power interface, a USB-C port, Mini DisplayPort, HDMI, and a headphone jack. It also comes with two 5w stereo speakers for audio, along with two far-field microphones. It comes with a 135w charger out of the box, letting you power the MateView and charge your laptop or tablet (up to 65w) at the same time.

Making the MateView stand out from other monitors is its hidden Smart Bar that offers a touch interface for making adjustments to the display settings, input source, and volume. Being part of Huawei’s ecosystem, the MateView has intelligent features like OneHop Projection and Wireless Desktop Projection. The latter lets you project whatever is on your Huawei phone into the MateView for better productivity–while using an external keyboard and mouse to get you going with editing your important files.
