Huawei is set to launch two new nova 12 phones in the Philippines, as both the nova 12 SE and nova 12i are already listed on the website. Common specs between both nova 12 phones include a Snapdragon 680 processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, Full HD+ displays, a 108-megapixel main camera, and EMUI 14 out of the box.
The nova 12i is the more affordable of the two, as you get a 6.7-inch 90hz LCD display, along with a 5000mAh battery that supports 40w charging and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
The nova 12 SE, on the other hand, gets you a 6.67-inch 90hz OLED display, along with an additional 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a higher-resolution 32-megapixel selfie camera, and a 4500mAh battery that supports 66w charging.
According to Huawei’s press release for both phones, the 108-megapixel camera found on both the nova 12 SE and nova 12i promises unparalleled clarity and detail in every shot with its 1/1.67″ sensor size, 9-in-1 pixel binning, and Zero Shutter Lag (ZSL) when shooting at a full 108-megapixel resolution.
As for its software, EMUI 14 comes with several tweaks where users can customize their preferences with the lock screen and home screen, along with improved security and privacy features.
Huawei has yet to reveal when the nova 12 SE and nova 12i will launch in the Philippines, but expect an announcement in the coming days.
