Huawei P11/P20 To Be Launched on March 27

Contrary to previous speculations of an MWC 2018 launch

It’s official: We will not be seeing the Huawei P11/P20 at MWC 2018. Instead, Huawei will be setting a separate event to be held at Paris on March 27. This corroborates to early speculations that Huawei will be focusing more on its tablets and 2-in-1 convertibles instead.

Huawei’s move is interesting, as it chose to not go head-to-head against Samsung and Sony, who are slated to launch the Galaxy S9/S9+ and Xperia XZ Pro respectively at MWC 2018. Aside from the two, Xiaomi, Nokia, and ASUS are also set to launch new phones during MWC with the Mi MIX 2S, Nokia 9, and ZenFone 5 respectively.

LG will be doing the same move as Huawei, deciding to launch a new variant of the V30 for MWC 2018. As for the G7? We have to wait for March before LG launches the successor to the G6.
