It’s going to give the Galaxy S20 Ultra a run for its money
As we wait for Huawei’s upcoming P40 series, new information about the P40 Pro Premium‘s cameras have surfaced. According to the latest report, the penta-rear camera setup of the top-tier Premium model will rival those found on the Galaxy S20 Ultra. Huawei’s flagship may not have a 108-megapixel rear camera, but its 52-megapixel, 1/1.28-inch Sony IMX700 RYYB main camera is equally huge.
Accompanying it is a 40-megapixel, 1/1.5-inch Sony IMX650 RGGB ultra-wide-angle camera, a ToF sensor, and two telephoto cameras: a conventional one delivering 3x optical zoom, and a periscope module delivering 10x optical zoom. Aside from the usual LED flash and microphone, the Premium version also gets a color temperature sensor as well.
We should know more about the P40 series come March 26.
