This week marks Apple’s new announcements, and they kick things off with the iMac M4. While it looks similar to last year’s model, Apple updated its all-in-one computer with an M4 processor, a base RAM of 16GB, and an updated 12-megapixel webcam.
The new M4 chip claims to be 25% faster than the M3, and all of its accessories are now color-matched and are finally updated to USB-C. Unfortunately, the Magic Mouse has the USB-C port still placed in the bottom. All variants come with Apple Intelligence with help from the 16-core Neural Engine, though do note that previous-generation iMacs starting with the M1 version will eventually get Apple Intelligence.
The iMac M4 starts at Php 84,990 for the base model with an 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, 16GB RAM, 256GB storage, and two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports. For Php 12,000 more, you get a more powerful M4 chip with a 10-core CPU, 10-core GPU, four Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, Gigabit Ethernet, and TouchID on the Magic Keyboard.
