After making its 180w ThunderCharge official and available with the ZERO ULTRA, Infinix introduces its next-generation charging tech with 260w wired and 110w wireless All-Round FastCharge. Using a 4400mAh battery, Infinix’s latest solution can top up the battery from 0 to 100% in under 8 minutes with 260w wired charging and 16 minutes with 110w wireless charging.

Its 260w All-Round FastCharge makes use of a 4-pump Intelligent Circuit Design that dynamically adjusts the charging needs to the 12C High Rate battery that has a multi-electrode lug structure. Aside from providing better charging efficiency, Infinix also said that its 260w All-Round solution can keep the battery’s capacity to 90% even after 1000 cycles.

To make this possible, the 260w charging brick makes use of a dual GaN circuit architecture, while the custom 13A charging cable has 4 21AWG wires inside its 4-core cable.

And for the first time, Infinix has its own high-speed wireless charging solution with 110w All-Round FastCharge. It’s made possible with its use of custom-made small-sensitive coils that have a simpler design than current charging coils with the same footprint. For this, Infinix designed a custom wireless charging station that has dual coils for both vertical and horizontal charging, along with a near-silent fan placed at the bottom.

Infinix’s All-Round FastChage solution aims to combine fast charging, flexibility, and safety in eight functions–both for wired and wireless charging. Like last year’s ThunderCharge, Infinix’s latest solution is compatible with other charging protocols like USB-PD 3.0, and comes with over 100 protection mechanisms that include 20 temperature sensors.

Infinix said that All-Round FastCharge will be made available to a Note phone soon, which means we should expect to see their first product to support wireless charging.
