Infinix updates its GT line of gaming phones with the GT 20 Pro. Buillding up from last year’s GT 10 Pro, the GT 20 Pro utilizes a more powerful Dimensity 8200 processor that’s tried and tested for gaming. This time around, Infinix adds a Pixelworks X5 dedicated display chip that they claim can help you achieve up to 120FPS for games.
The flat AMOLED display now has a faster 144hz refresh rate and 360hz touch response rate, and retains the punch-hole for the 32-megapixel selfie shooter. Being a gaming device, you get 256GB UFS 3.1 storage and up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, along with improved cooling to help the GT 20 Pro sustain heavy loads without thermal concerns. Keeping the lights on is a 5000mAh battery with 45w charging, and you get the same JBL-tuned stereo speakers that you’d find on the NOTE 40 series. For the cameras, you get the same setup that’s found on the NOTE 40 Pro+: 108-megapixel ISOCELL HM6 main camera with OIS and two filler cameras. Like the NOTE 40 Pro series, Infinix commits to 2 Android updates and 3 years of security updates for the GT 20 Pro.
The GT 20 Pro is listed at Amazon Saudi Arabia for SAR 1299, which is around Php 20k when converted. There’s no word if Infinix will make the GT 20 Pro available in the Philippines.
