As a follow up to its successful GT 20 Pro, Infinix doubles down on bang-for-the-buck gaming phones with the GT 30 Pro. Armed with a tweaked version of its Mecha design, the GT 30 Pro gets upgraded to a Dimensity 8350 processor and like the NOTE 50 Pro+ comes with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 internal storage.
New to the GT 30 Pro are capacitive shoulder buttons called GT Triggers that are mappable according to your gaming needs. The display has the same size and the same 144hz refresh rate, but you get a 1.5k resolution and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. Despite being a gaming phone, the GT 30 Pro has a decent camera setup that consist of a 108-megapixel main shooter and 8-megapixel ultrawide, and 13-megapixel selfie shooter. The battery gets a bump at 5500mAh, and you also gain 30w wireless charging.
The GT 30 Pro also has a “Gaming Master Edition”, which bundles a MagCharge Cooler and a MagCase to help keep thermals stable. The former enables Draco Mode, which simultaneous does wireless charging and active cooling during gaming.
The GT 30 Pro is priced at RM 1299(~Php 17k) for the 12GB/256GB version and RM 1499(~Php 20k) for the 12GB/512GB version. Infinix is expected to bring the GT 30 Pro to the Philippines, so stay tuned for official announcements.
Aside from the GT 30 Pro, Infinix’s GT Verse includes the XPAD GT, which is a gaming tablet that has a Snapdragon 888 processor, 144hz display, 3D surround speakers, and a 10000mAh battery, along with the GTBUDs 4 that offer low-latency game mode, 30dB ANC, and cyber lighting and a GT Power power bank that supports 55w fast charging.Â
