Just a week after announcing the HOT 40 series globally, Infinix is starting to bring over the whole lineup to the Philippines starting with the HOT 40i with a suggested price of Php 5,299.
As the most affordable variant, the HOT 40i gets you a Unisoc T606 processor that’s paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, along with a 6.56-inch HD+ 90hz display with a punch hole for a 32-megapixel camera. If you noticed the promo photos, the HOT 40i also has Infinix’s Magic Ring interface, which is the brand’s own take at Apple’s Dynamic Island.
Unlike previous HOT models, the HOT 40i also follows the trend of having a flat back panel and flat frame sides, along with a large camera module that’s reminiscent of Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro series.
Other notable features of the HOT 40i include a 50-megapixel main camera, a 5000mAh battery with 18w wired charging, an extra loud speaker that supports DTS, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The HOT 40i can be purchased via Infinix’s Shopee store. With the arrival of the HOT 40i in the Philippines, we expect Infinix to reveal the price and availability of the standard HOT 40 and HOT 40 Pro in the coming days. We’re more curious at the pricing of the HOT 40 Pro, since it has a number of similarities to the NOTE 30 series.
