Infinix unveiled several things with the global launch of the NOTE 50 Pro+, and a big chunk of it involves its vision for AI with the AI Beta Plan.
“With the launch of the ‘Infinix AI Beta Plan’, we aim to empower today’s youth, allowing them to experience AI-driven innovation firsthand. This is more than just a product upgrade—it’s a technological revolution that encourages young people to explore, experiment, and push the boundaries of AI’s role in daily life. We believe AI should be fun, intuitive, and deeply embedded in the way we live, work, and create,” Infinix General Manager Tony Zhao said.
Part of the agenda of AI Beta is to evolve AI to cover various aspects–from being an assistant to a gaming companion. This will also introduce AI features in Infinix’s AIXOS system, which they describe as “self-learning, ever-evolving system that seamlessly integrates AI into everyday life.”
Some of the key features of Infinix AI Beta include the XBoost AI gaming engine that can accelerate dialogues and auto-collect items to keep players focused on their game, along with enhanced Folax for eSports Mode, ZoneTouch Master for improved touch response, and Magic Voice Changer. The One-tap Infinix AI feature activates Folax to access over 1000 smart living options–all while utilizing DeepSeek’s deep thinking mode for more nuanced and substantial conversations.
Together with Infinix AI, the brand also formally unveiled the NOTE 50 Pro+, which is their top-end variant in the series. It is powered by a Dimensity 8350 processor and also boasts the same ArmorAlloy metal frame found on other NOTE 50 variants. The NOTE 50 PRo+ gets an upgraded camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel IMX 896 main camera with OIS and a periscope camera that can do up to 100x zoom and up to 6x lossless zoom. Its battery supports both 100w wired and 50w wireless charging, making the NOTE 50 Pro+ feature-packed for a midrange device.
Joining the NOTE 50 Pro+ are Infinix’s AI Buds and AI Ring. The former aims to offer real-time translation in 162 languages, along with offering hybrid ANC and a touchscreen on the charging case. The AI Ring, on the other hand, aims to offer comprehensive AI-powered health tracking with a weeklong battery life.
