Why the ZERO 30 is an Affordable Phone for Content Creation

Infinix has made it clear that its ZERO line is geared towards content creation. The ZERO ULTRA broke boundaries with its 200-megapixel camera, while the ZERO 30 5G pushed the boundaries of content creation by offering 4K60 video recording on both front and rear cameras–at a mid-range price point. Infinix thinks that they can offer an even more affordable phone for content creation with the ZERO 30, and it does have most of the things we love on the 5G version–at a lower price tag.

After using the ZERO 30 for over a week, we think that Infinix proved its point that it can come up with an under Php 10k phone that’s great for content creation. Here are the things we like about the ZERO 30:

Smooth 2K video recording. While Infinix has been offering 2K video recording on the majority of its budget phones, one of our chief complaints is that the quality is not as good. Infinix addressed this with the ZERO 30’s 108-megapixel main camera that is well-optimized for shooting videos in 2K.

Should you want more stable footage, the ZERO 30 4G has EIS that allows you to shoot smooth Full HD footage. If you’re after higher frame rates, the ZERO 30 can shoot Full HD at 60FPS for a more fluid look with your footage–which is great for shooting fast-paced action scenes.

Best-in-class selfie camera. Just like its 5G sibling, the ZERO 30 uses a 50-megapixel selfie camera that has Eye Autofocus. This makes the ZERO 30 a class leader for under Php 10k when it comes to selfies.

Aside from taking selfies that are better than the competition, the ZERO 30 can also shoot 2K selfie videos as well, making it a great budget phone for content creation. To maximize its video recording capabilities, the ZERO 30 can shoot with both the front and rear cameras simultaneously.

Quality display. Those high-quality videos are best appreciated with an equally great display, and the ZERO 30 delivers on that with its 120hz curved AMOLED panel. Aside from its main camera, the ZERO 30 stands out for being one of the few phones to offer a curved AMOLED display at under Php 10k.

Aside from bringing accurate colors, the ZERO 30’s excellent touch response makes it great for editing and creating your vlogs on the phone itself, making it a compelling budget phone that can shoot and edit videos at the same time. To complete the package, the ZERO 30 comes with stereo speakers to make it an all-around entertainment device as well.

Capable internals. While the ZERO 30 lacks 5G connectivity, Infinix equipped it with a Helio G99 processor, which is the best 4G-only processor option for under Php 10k. You get 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage which should be enough for storing all the photos and videos you take with it.

Battery life should not be a problem, as the Helio G99 is based on a power-efficient 6nm process that can make the most out of the ZERO 30’s 5000mAh battery. You can top-up the battery quickly with 45w charging, and Infinix added a bypass charging feature that allows you to plug the ZERO 30 directly to a power outlet without the risk of overcharging the battery.

The ZERO 30 is priced at Php 9,999 and is available in Lazada and Shopee.
