Insta360 unveils the X5 as its latest 360-degree camera. It boasts bigger 1/1.28-inch sensors, a Triple AI chip system, and an AI-powered PureVideo mode for low-light shooting. Â The bigger sensors translate to capturing more light, and the Triple AI chip system, which consists of a 5nm AI chip and two Pro imaging chips, helped in getting clean footage across all lighting conditions. With the upgraded internals, Active HDR is supported at up to 5.7K 60FPS for smooth, sharper shots, especially in high-contrast scenes.
Like its predecessor, the X5 can shoot 360-degree video at up to 8K 30FPS resolution, but this time gets an upgrade for its lenses, which are made from new ultra-durable glass. For the first time, Insta360 is introducing a replaceable lens system, allowing you to swap out damaged lenses on the go. The X5 also benefits from a built-in wind guard, extended 3-hour battery life with a new 2400mAh battery, and improved IP68 waterproofing at up to 49ft.
Also new to the X5 is InstaFrame Mode, which simultaneously captures an auto-framed, ready-to-share flat video and a full 360° video to fine-tune later.
The Insta360 X5 is now available in the Philippines via all the Insta360 Official Stores nationwide, Insta Premium Kiosks in Aerophone, and select retailers, starting at Php 32,990. Customers can choose from four official bundles, each designed to meet different shooting needs:
