vivo has updated its X-series to effectively be part of the brand’s premium segment line with a phablet and a foldable. While there are rumors about the X80 Pro being just as premium as the X Note, vivo sub-brand iQOO has a new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered phone with the Neo6.
The Neo6 looks very similar to the current design language of vivo’s X-series phones and appears to be a toned-down version of the iQOO 9 series.

Compared to iQOO 9, the Neo6 is smaller with its 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display but still retains the 120hz refresh rate. The rear cameras are toned down as well: with the Neo6, you get a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS, 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. You also get the same 4700mAh battery as that iQOO 9, but the Neo6 settles for a slower (but still fast) 80w wired charging.
The Neo6 is priced at CNY 2799(~Php 23k) for the 8GB/128GB variant, CNY 2999(~Php 24.6k) for the 8GB/256GB variant, and CNY 3299(~Php 27.1k) for the 12GB/256GB variant. It will be available in China on April 20, and there’s a possibility that it might be available in other countries bearing the vivo brand instead.
