After countless leaks, rumors, and speculation, iQOO has officially launched its latest flagship smartphones. Both the iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro are packing some impressive specs with a special BMW M Edition for car nuts out there.

Design-wise, both models sport a completely new appearance at the back. Metal frames made out of aerospace-grade aluminum alloy were used to make the phone sturdy and premium looking. Moreover, the triple camera setup is encased in a box that covers almost the entire upper half of the rear panel. As for the color scheme, the new models including the limited BMW M Edition, come in classic colors. 

In terms of performance, the new models are powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset which is based on the new 4nm process technology. This chip uses the X2 super core, built-in enhanced LPDDR5 memory, and an overclocked version of UFS 3.1 storage. According to the iQOO, the new models can provide a smooth and refreshing game experience with high frames while using minimal power consumption.

Since iQOO 9 models are all gaming phones, heat should not be an issue. This is why they all come with a  3923 mm2 super large area heat spreader that covers the entire panel, in addition to the two split-flow power pumps that ensure chip heat dissipation. On top of that, there’s also a stacked waterfall VC three-dimensional heat dissipation system for accelerated heat conduction.
