If the thought of getting a decent budget phone for under Php 3k during its promo period is not insane enough, itel follows that up with the P55. Unlike the under Php 3k A70, the P55 is a 5G phone with a Dimensity 6080 processor–which is also known as the Dimensity 810 for those who are used to MediaTek’s old branding scheme.

What makes the P55 incredible is that itel posted on its Shopee listing that it will have an under Php 5k promo price. You read that right: itel wants to break boundaries once again by being the first brand that’s brave enough to have a 5G-capable phone for just under Php 5k. 

What do you get for that incredibly low price? According to a listing in Amazon India, the P55’s Dimensity 6080 is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, which is fairly decent for a budget device. There’s also a 50-megapixel main camera on the P55, along with a 6.6-inch 90hz display, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and USB-C fast charging.

The fact that you get all of that for under Php 5k is really insane, and it makes us think how itel managed to keep the price that low. Aside from being exclusive to Shopee, it seems that itel will only offer the promo price for the first 2000 buyers of the P55. You will need to have fast fingers if you want to get hold of arguably the cheapest 5G phone you can buy in the Philippines.
