Meizu is a brand that we haven’t heard in a while: the last time we had local news about them was with the X8 back in 2018. After it was acquired by Geely in 2022, we haven’t heard much about Meizu. That’s set to change with the reintroduction of Geely in the Philippines, as Meizu also marks its return to the country after 6 years with the Note 21 series as its hero product.
Starting with the standard Note 21, this budget phone has a large 6000mAh battery that supports 18w USB-C charging and comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Its 6.74-inch display has a Full HD+ resolution,n 90hz refresh rate, and a tiny notch for an 8-megapixel selfie shooter, while its dual rear camera setup is led by a 50-megapixel snapper. Powering the Note 21 is a Unisoc T606 processor.
The Note 21 Pro, on the other hand, has a sleeker design with a 6.78-inch 120hz display that has a Full HD+ resolution and punch-hole for a 13-megapixel selfie camera and a 64-megapixel ISOCELL GW3 rear camera that’s accompanied by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Powering the Note 12 Pro is a Helio G99 processor that’s paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and its 5000mAh battery supports 30w charging.
The Meizu Note 21 is priced at Php 5,999 for the 8GB/256GB model in the Philippines, while there’s no official price yet for the Note 21 Pro.
