Meizu Expands Global Offerings with the Note 22 Series

While we were hoping to get the Note 16 series as the one to be made available globally, Meizu made them official for the global market as the Note 22 series.

The base Note 22 has a Helio G99 processor and a 6.78-inch 120hz OLED display that has a punch-hole for a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. It’s triple rear camera setup consists of a 108-megapixel main shooter, 8-megapixel ultrawide, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. You also get a 5000mAh battery that supports 40w charging.

The Note 22 5G is based on the Note 16 in China, and its specs include a 120hz IPS display, IP65 rating, and a Unisoc T8200 processor. Its rear camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel main shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and its battery is a huge 6600mAh cell that supports 40w charging.

Then there’s the Note 22 Pro 5G, which is based on the Note 16 Pro. That one gets an IP66 rating, a 144hz AMOLED display, and a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. Its cameras consists of a 50-megapixel main and 8-megapixel ultrawide, while keeping the lights on is a 6200mAh battery that supports 80w charging.

The Note 22 5G starts at $169(~Php 10k), while the Note 22 Pro 5G starts at $299(~Php 17k). Meizu said that the Note 22 series will be available across Russia, Spain, Malaysia and Vietnam initially, with a planned expansion to 30+ countries in Asia Pacific, Latin America, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Europe.
