After announcing the moto G50 5G as its entry-level offering, Motorola Philippines is set to bring another affordable 5G device with the Edge 20 Fusion. Ahead of its launch, Lenovo Consumer Marketing Lead Randy Kanapi shared photos of the upcoming phone, along with some of its key specs.
In Kanapi’s post, he revealed some of the key specs of the Edge 20 Fusion. These include a Dimensity 800U processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 90hz refresh rate, 5000mAh battery with 30w TurboCharge wired charging, and a 108-megapixel main rear camera.
Judging from those specs, the Edge 20 Fusion is similar to the Edge 20 Lite that was announced last July–but comes with a better processor and more RAM to boot. From the photos Kanapi shared, the Edge 20 Fusion and Edge 20 Lite appear to look similar with their rear camera modules.
Assuming that those are the only key differences, we expect the Edge 20 Fusion to have an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, 32-megapixel selfie snapper, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and an IP52 rating. Software is expected to be Android 11 and close to stock like most Motorola phones.
With the moto Edge 20 Fusion having a starting price of Rs 21,999 in India, it is expected to be priced at around Php 15k, which might mean that the Edge 20 Fusion will replace the Moto G 5G Plus as the brand’s 5G mid-range offering in the Philippines.
The Edge 20 Fusion is coming soon, so expect Motorola Philippines to reveal more details about it in the coming days.
