Nothing updates its wireless audio portfolio with two new TWS earbuds, namely the 2024 Ear and Ear (a). The 2024 Ear is Nothing’s flagship TWS offering and directly replaces the Ear (2). Making both TWS earbuds interesting is that they come with ChatGPT integration, where you can summon it with a pinch gesture.

What has changed with the 2024 Ear over the Ear (2)? Nothing said that the 2024 Ear comes with updated 11mm dynamic drivers with a ceramic diaphragm for crisper highs, along with additional vents for better airflow and to give a clearer sound signature. You still get support for LHDC 5.0 and LDAC for high-bitrate streaming, but its Smart ANC algorithm has been improved with automatic checking for noise leakage.
The 2024 Ear gets better sound control with the Advanced Equalizer option on the Nothing X app, along with Bluetooth 5.3 with dual device pairing, Google Fast Pair, and Microsoft Swift Pair. There are also new mics as well, which Nothing claims offer better voice pickup and calls.
The Ear (a), on the other hand, retains most of the features of the 2024 Ear, but has a different design and a loud yellow color option. The features not present on the Ear (a) are wireless charging, custom EQ options, and the ceramic diaphragm.
The Ear (a) is priced at $99(~Php 6k), while the 2024 Ear is priced at $149(~Php 9k). Both of them will be available on April 22, and we expect them to be made available locally via Digital Walker.
