The unique form factor has wraparound ear hooks and Nothing’s trademark semi-transparent design. The drivers rest outside your ear, but Nothing claims that their Sound Seal System minimizes sound leakage—which is a challenge with this type of TWS earbuds.
Nothing’s new TWS earbuds are light at just 8.1 grams per earbud and feature 14.2mm titanium-coated drivers, dual mics, and pinch controls. You also get and IP54 rating as well.
Like Nothing’s other TWS offerings, the Ear (open) uses the Nothing X app for further customization, and you also get ChatGPT integration—provided that you use them with a Nothing phone. As for battery life, they are rated for 8 hours on a single charge and up to 30 hours with the charging case. Topping up the battery is limited to USB-C—you don’t get wired charging with them.
The Ear (Open) is listed to have an official price of Php 8,990. Expect Nothing to reveal availability details soon.
