After almost 2 months since it went official globally, Digital Walker has revealed its pre-order details for the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, which starts today (Sept 26). There are two ways you can pre-order the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus: online via their website, and through Digital Walker’s stores in Mall of Asia and Trinoma. While the pre-order period is until September 28, it is on a first-come-first-served basis, so the pre-order period might end earlier than expected.
The official price of the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus in the Philippines is Php 24,990, but those who will pre-order will get a Php 2,000 discount. Digital Walker did not disclose what variant is coming to the Philippines, but the pricing makes us think that we’re getting the 12GB/256GB variant.
To recap, the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus upgrades from the non-Plus model in three key aspects: its 5000mAh battery charges slightly faster at 50w, and you get an upgraded 50-megapixel selfie camera that can shoot 4K videos. The biggest upgrade is its use of a Dimensity 7350 processor, which boast Higher-clocked Cortex-A715 cores running at 3Ghz and Cortex-A510 cores run at 2Ghz. The GPU is the same as the one used on the Dimensity 7200 found on its predecessor, but now runs at 1.3Ghz. With these changes, Nothing claims a 10% better CPU performance and 30% better GPU performance with the Phone (2a) Plus.
