Meet the Nothing Phone (3)

Meet the Nothing Phone (3)

After several teasers to hype it up, the Nothing Phone (3) is finally official. The back panel looks as weird and unusual as what the rumors reported, but you’re getting a more competitive camera setup here with three 50-megapixel sensors–one each for the main camera, ultrawide camera, and 3x telephoto camera. The Glyph Interface is gone; instead, you get a circular Glyph Matrix display.

This device is premium indeed with a solid aluminum frame, Nothing CEO Carl Pei was serious when he said that the Phone (3) will be one of the best–if not the best–offering from the brand. You’d notice that there’s a new button on the side where the power button is located, and that’s the Essential Key–which is also found on the Phone (3a) series. You also get an IP68 rating to keep it protected from water and dust.

We know that the Phone (3) is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4–the same chip found in the POCO F7–but Nothing went all in with the configuration: 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. This is the first time Nothing has a phone with 16GB RAM.

The display is the same as its predecessor: 6.67-inch 120hz LTPO OLED display 4500nits peak brightness, symmetrical bezels and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The punch-hole gets a higher-resolution 50-megapixel selfie shooter, and all four cameras are capable of shooting 4K video at 60FPS. Keeping the lights on is a 5150mAh battery that supports 65w wired and 15w wireless charging.

The Nothing Phone (3) is coming soon to the Philippines. Stay tuned to the site for the official pricing and availability.
