One of the major upgrades of the A78 4G is with the display, you get a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution and a more modern punch-hole for the 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The stereo speakers also remain on the A78 4G, and so is the headphone jack.
The 5000mAh battery gets a much faster 67w charging solution, which should let you top up the battery in less than an hour. Like its 5G sibling, the dual rear camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
Powering the A78 4G is a Snapdragon 680 processor that’s paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. While it is slightly smaller than its 5G sibling, the A78 4G shares the same back panel design–along with the presence of a headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and USB-C port. It also comes with Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1 out of the box.
While OPPO may not bring the A78 4G to the Philippines–we already have the 5G version–it is priced at IDR 3,599,000 in Indonesia or around Php 14k when converted.
