It has been over a year since OPPO last had foldables in its lineup with the Find N3. Despite all rumors and speculations that OPPO has stopped making foldables, they have responded on Weibo that they will launch a new model called the Find N5.
OPPO only shared a single photo, and it’s clear that they aim to challenge the Magic V3 as the thinnest foldable in 2025. HONOR’s 2024 foldable is 4.25mm thick when unfolded, and rumors point to the Find N5 being around 3.5mm to 4mm thin when unfolded. Aside from the photo, OPPO confirmed that the Find N5 will launch in February.
As for specs, we know that it will feature a titanium alloy hinge as confirmed by OPPO Find series Product Manager Zhou Yibao. Being a flagship foldable, expected specs for the Find N5 include a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, three 50-megapixel cameras–most likely tuned by Hasselblad like in the Find N3, and a 5900mAh battery that supports 80w wired and 50w wireless charging. We also expect it to have Android 15-based ColorOS 15 out of the box with OPPO’s array of AI features.
Depending on the region, other rumors point to the OPPO’s upcoming foldable being known as the OnePlus Open 2.
