OPPO’s Reno11 Series is Arriving on February 1

The wait for the Reno11 series will end soon, as OPPO confirmed that its mid-range phones will arrive in the Philippines on February 1. According to the press release they sent us, OPPO will only be bringing over the standard Reno11 and the Reno11 Pro–this time around, there will be no Pro+ variant arriving art our shores.

Just like the Reno10 series, the main highlight of the Reno11 series are their telephoto cameras–in the form of a 32-megapixel IMX709 sensor that has 2x optical zoom. OPPO is one of the first brands to start the trend of not including any filler cameras on their mid-range offerings, and it is a trend we look forward to seeing this 2024.

While the Reno11 Pro will retain the 50-megapixel IMX890 sensor for its main camera, the standard Reno11 will a new 50-megapixel LYT600 sensor for the main camera. We still have to see how this sensor will be an upgrade to the 64-megapixel one used on the standard Reno10.

Aside from highlighting the camera hardware used, OPPO claims that its updated Portrait Expert engine will help both Reno11 variants to take better portrait photos with improved facial recognition, subject/scene separation, and skin tone renderings.

We more or less have an idea on the key specs of the Reno11 series, so we just need to wait for official pricing and availability in the Philippines come February 1.
