OPPO has confirmed that the Reno14 series will launch in China on May 14, and it has I-DLE’s Song Yuqi once again as its brand ambassador.

The series of posters featuring Yuqi gives us a closer look at the Reno14 in four colors: purple, green, black, and white–with the latter having an iridescent pattern. The posters pretty much confirm the renders of the Reno14 we spotted last week, though the one Yuqi is holding appears to be the Reno14 Pro with the slight difference on the right part of the camera module.

From what we know so far, we expect both the Reno14 and Reno14 Pro to have an aluminum frame, IP69 rating, and flat 120hz AMOLED displays. Other expected features a quick button, 80w SuperVOOC charging, and magnetic wireless charging.

A Geekbench listing reveals that the Reno14 Pro will use a Dimensity 8400 processor and will come with 12GB RAM. There are no details yet about the cameras, but we’re expecting the same setup we saw on the Reno13 Pro: 50-megapixel main with OIS, 8-megapixel ultrawide, and 50-megapixel periscope with 3.5x optical zoom.

With the Reno13 series having the same specs for both the China and Global version, we’re optimistic that OPPO will continue with the same trend for the Reno14 series. Our other concern is how the Reno14 series look similar to the OnePlus 13T, and that might be a reason for Oppo to limit the availability of OnePlus’ compact flagship.
