While we are waiting for the official launch of the OPPO Reno7 series, the alleged specs for both the vanilla and Pro models have been leaked by EVLeaks on Twitter.
The Reno7 is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 778G processor that is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It will have the same 6.4-inch AMOLED display used on the Reno6 5G, down to the 90hz refresh rate and the punch-hole that houses a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 camera.
Like the Reno6 5G, the Reno7 5G will also have the same triple rear camera setup—64-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and 2-megapixel depth sensor—along with 65w wired charging. As for the battery, the Reno7 5G will get a slightly bigger cell at 4500mAh.
Moving on to the Reno7 Pro 5G, it will allegedly rock a Dimensity 1200-Max processor that is paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. It will have a curved 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 90hz refresh rate and the same 32-megapixel selfie snapper used on the vanilla model.
While it has the same 4500mAh battery and 65w wired charging as the vanilla model, the Reno7 Pro 5G has a different set of rear cameras that consists of a 50-megapixel IMX766 main camera, 8-megapixel IMX355 ultra-wide-angle camera (the vanilla model will use an OmniVision sensor for the ultra-wide-angle camera), and 2-megapixel depth sensor. Both the vanilla and Pro models will have Android 11-based ColorOS 12 out of the box.
While EVLeaks has a solid reputation when it comes to leaks, we will have to wait and see if these rumored specs of both the Reno7 5G and Reno7 Pro 5G are true once OPPO officially announces them–which is expected to happen by the end of the year.
