TECNO is serious about disrupting the flip foldable segment in the Philippines, as the official price of the PHANTOM V Flip is lower than what we expected.

Spotted as a poster on TECNO’s official Shopee store, the Phantom V Flip has an official price of Php 29,999, which is lower than the Rs 49,999 (or Php 33k) SRP that was revealed when we were at its official launch in Singapore last month.

If that price not enticing enough for a flip foldable, TECNO will offer the PHANTOM V Flip for as low as Php 23,999 from November 9 to 11, making it the most affordable flip foldable you can buy in the Philippines. To make that deal even sweeter, TECNO will bundle a PHANTOM Watch with every PHANTOM V Flip purchase during the said period.

Now that we know the official price of the PHANTOM V Flip in the Philippines, TECNO kept its promise of making foldable phones accessible to the masses. Beyond its affordable pricing, the PHANTOM V Flip has decent specs to boot. These include a Dimensity 8050 processor, a 120hz foldable inner screen, a 64-megapixel RGBW main camera, and a fast 45w charging solution for its 4000mAh battery.

While its outer display is tiny compared to the competition, it’s really hard to complain about the PHANTOM V Flip given its pricing. What we hope for TECNO’s flip foldable is a good software update commitment. Given its positioning, we look forward to at least 2 major Android updates on the PHANTOM V Flip to make it a truly bang-for-your-buck flip foldable.
