Xiaomi confirms Redmi K60 Ultra features ahead of Aug 14 Launch

August 14 is going to be a busy day for Xiaomi: aside from unveiling the Mix Fold 3, the Pad 6 Max, and Band 8 Pro, Xiaomi will also launch the much-awaited Redmi K60 Ultra as well—which is rumored to be also known as the Xiaomi 13T globally. Ahead of the August 14 launch, Xiaomi revealed some key features of the Redmi K60 Ultra to excite everyone.

One of the key highlights of the Redmi K60 Ultra is that it will use a Dimensity 9200+ processor, which is a flagship-grade chip that can go toe-in-toe with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It will also feature a flagship-caliber display, where it will have a 144hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. It is said to support almost 1.8 billion colors, and will a dedicated PixelWorks X7 chip for driving the display.

Also groundbreaking with the Redmi K60 Ultra is the RAM/storage options, as you can get it with 24GB RAM—the most in a non-gaming phone—and 1TB of storage. Looking through the camera bump, the Redmi K60 Ultra will have a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 50-megapixel main camera and what we assume are an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and 2-megapixel depth sensor.

We should know more about the Redmi K60 Ultra on August 14, but based on what Xiaomi has confirmed this looks to be an interesting flagship killer offering.
