5. vivo V30 (15 hours 17 minutes, 5000mAh)
vivo is consistent on our list in terms of battery life, and the V30 proves that with its 5000mAh battery. The big change here is its use of a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, which is an upgrade over the Snapdragon 778G used by the V29. The result of that is a battery life of 15 hours and 17 minutes, which is one of the better figures we got as far as midrange phones are concerned.
4. OPPO Reno12 – 15 hours 59 minutes
OPPO was serious when it said that its share of AI tricks and its use of a Dimensity 7300 processor would translate to great battery life. This is why we’re surprised that the Reno12 was able to clock in a battery life close to 16 hours–just 6 minutes short of the realme 12 Pro+ while offering better overall performance. The Reno12 also made us believe that newer  MediaTek chips are also great for power efficiency as well.
3. realme 12 Pro+ – 16 hours 5 minutes
Aside from being the first midrange phone to have a periscope camera, the realme 12 Pro+ is also solid with battery life, as we got a little over 16 hours with its 5000mAh cell. We’ve used it to take photos and videos at Taylor Swift’s concert in Singapore, and the realme 12 Pro+ proved its reliable battery life. That can also be credited to its Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, which is power-efficient.
2. realme 13 Pro+ – 16 hours 27 minutes
The realme 13 Pro+ has the same internals as its predecessor but comes with a slightly bigger 5200mAh battery. That small upgrade results in a better battery life of 16.5 hours–around 25 minutes longer than what we got from its predecessor. Like its predecessor, we’ve used the realme 13 Pro+ to shoot photos and videos at concerts–and the battery life proved to be great. Aside from that, realme also gave it faster charging speeds at 80w to top up the battery quicker.
1. vivo V40 – 20 hours 54 minutes
While it has the same set of internals as the V30 that’s led by a power-efficient Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, vivo made the V40 a solid midrange phone for battery life by squeezing in a bigger 5500mAh cell while only adding 0.1mm in thickness from its predecessor. The result? A battery life that’s close to 21 hours, making the V40 the longest-lasting midrange phone in the Php 30k price segment.
