Sony has been on a roll lately: aside from unveiling the expensive PlayStation 5 Pro and a new KPop collaboration for the 1000XM5 series, Sony has also revealed its PlayStation 30th Anniversary collection.
The extensive collection–with the PlayStation 5 Pro version being limited to 12,300 units–is dressed in that iconic shade of gray and multicolored PS logo that pays homage to the original PlayStation from 1994.
The PlayStation 5 Pro bundle includes the console itself and limited edition accessories like a color-match DualSense wireless controller, DualSense Edge wireless controller, DualSense charging Station, and a Console cover for the disc drive (do note that the disk drive itself is sold separately).
Other nice additions include a cable connector that’s shaped like the original PlayStation controller connector, cable ties that are shaped by the PlayStation’s iconic buttons, stickers, a paperclip, and a poster.
The 30th-anniversary version of the PlayStation 5 is bundled with a DualSense wireless controller, Console Cover, and the same set of collector’s items found on its more expensive sibling. Other 30th Anniversary accessories that will be sold separately include the PlayStation Portal, DualSense Edge wireless controller, and DualSense controller.
There’s no official pricing yet for the PlayStation 30th Anniversary collection, but pre-orders will start on September 26. Pre-ordering depends on the region: In regions where direct.playstation.com is available, players with a PlayStation Network account can pre-order starting September 26. As for regions where direct.playstation.com isn’t available, pre-orders begin starting September 26 at participating retailers.
