Looking for the best time to buy a PlayStation 5 AND not worry about paying for resell? Sony has good news for you this Christmas, as the PlayStation 5 is getting hefty discounts from December 18 to 31.Â
The promo is part of Sony’s Incredible Deals campaign for Southeast Asia. Looking through the regional deals, only the Philippines has promo deals for consoles. And the discounts are very enticing: the PlayStation 5 console will have a promo price of Php 23,990, which is a good Php 6.8k discount from its official SRP of Php 30,790.
We presume that the one on sale is the older PlayStation 5 (not the new slim version with a removable optical drive) with an optical drive, so that’s still a really good deal if you are looking to get Sony’s latest gaming console on a budget.
Other PlayStation 5 deals Sony has this Christmas include the bundle with 2 DualSense Controllers, which will have a promo price of Php 27,190, or a discount of Php 6.8k. That’s also a good deal especially if you want an extra controller for only Php 3.2k for multiplayer gaming with friends and save Php 900 in the process. The SRP of the DualSense Controller is  Php 4,290 in case you’re not aware.
