Its a mix between the Snapdragon 710 and Snapdragon 660
Qualcomm unveiled its latest Snapdragon 600-series processor with the Snapdragon 670. A successor to the Snapdragon 660, the Snapdragon inherits some of the Snapdragon 710’s features such as a 2x Kryo 360 + 6x Kryo 360 octa-core configuration, Qualcomm AI engine, Spectra 250 ISP, and a 10nm LPP manufacturing process.
However, since the Snapdragon 670 has a lower clock speed at 1.7Ghz (compared to 2.0Ghz on the Snapdragon 710), the Snapdragon 670 supports up to 25-megapixel in single camera configuration and 16-megapixel in dual camera configuration.
Other differences include the use of an Adreno 615 GPU, and a Snapdragon X12 LTE modem—the same modem found on the Snapdragon 660.
The Snapdragon 670 is expected to be available in the following months, with the OPPO R17 and R17 Pro as the first phones to utilize it.
