After bringing over the 12 Pro+, 12+, and 12 5G to the Philippines, realme is adding one more variant with the 12 4G. The most affordable model under the realme 12 series aims to impress with its use of an LYT600 sensor for the main camera with OIS. This is the same camera used on the realme 12+, and we were generally happy with its performance especially in low light.
As a successor to the realme 11, the realme 12 4G still has an AMOLED display–but this time, you’re getting a 120hz refresh rate and a significantly slimmer chin for a more modern look. The 5000mAh battery also retains the 67w charging of its predecessor, so topping up the realme 12 4G should be fast. You also get the same design language as its 5G-ready sibling with the camera module placed in the center, a decorative strip right at the middle of the back panel, and flat frame sides.
Other features include a Snapdragon 685 processor, up to 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, a 16-megapixel selfie camera, stereo speakers, and Android 14-based realme UI 5.0 out of the box.
realme will be revealing its official pricing and availability soon, so stay tuned to the site for the latest updates.
