Aside from the global announcement of the GT 2 series, realme also announced its new DART charging solution with the 150w UltraDART. As part of realme’s UltraDART Charging Architecture, the 150w charging solution aims to attain 50% charge in under 5 minutes through multiple charge pumps.
Even with those insanely fast charging speeds, realme is incorporating a Temperature Management Algorithm that ensures temperatures will not go beyond 43 degrees Celsius. On top of that, realme ensures that its new lithium batteries will be able to retain 80% of their capacity after over 1000 cycles.
Unlike the 125w UltraDARTÂ solution announced back in 2020, realme will be making its 150w UltraDART available on the GT Neo3, which is close to entering mass production.
Speaking of the GT Neo3, there might be two versions: one having a 5000mAh battery and 80w charging, and one using a smaller 4500mAh battery and faster 150w UltraDART charging. To differentiate the two models further, the one with 80w charging will reportedly use a Dimensity 8100 processor, while the one with realme’s 150w UltraDART charging will come with a Snapdragon 888.
Other details about the Dimensity 8100 variant include a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 120hz OLED display with 10-bit color, 16-megapixel front camera, and a triple rear camera setup that’s led by a 50-megapixel IMX766 main camera with OIS.
